We are committed to presenting live music with the health of our patrons, staff, and musicians as our priority. Do you have food?
Food and drinks are available for purchase at all Jazz St. Louis performances. Guests attending the 7:30 pm performances can arrive as early as 6:00 pm to be seated and place your order. 9:30 pm attendees are seated beginning at 9:00 pm and can order from that time throughout the show or arrive early and dine in Nancy’s Jazz Lounge. Kitchen closes at 10 pm.
Does a meal come with the price of the ticket?
No. Your ticket covers the performance. Dinner and drinks are a separate charge.
Do I have to order food, or can I just get drinks?
Jazz St. Louis performances have no minimum, although we encourage you to dine with us.
Where is Jazz St. Louis located?
The Harold & Dorothy Steward Center for Jazz, home of Jazz St. Louis, is located at 3536 Washington Avenue (at Grand Boulevard), just across from the Fox Theatre.
Where can I park?
Valet parking is available for all Jazz St. Louis performances and is complimentary for subscribers! The Grand Center Arts District has several pay lots available for most shows. There is on-street parking with meters running until 7:00 pm.
Will I be sitting with other people?
Jazz St. Louis uses family-style seating, so unless you have purchased all the tickets at a table, you will likely be seated with other patrons.
Do you have a dress code?
We do not have a dress code.
What time can I get there?
Doors open at 6:00 pm for 7:30 pm performances, and at 9:00 pm for 9:30 pm sets. Second set guests are welcome to arrive at Nancy’s Jazz Lounge before 9:00 pm. For Sunday, doors open at 5 pm for the 6:30 pm set.
May I stay for the second set if I bought a ticket for the first set?
While we try to let you stay for the second set at no additional charge as often as possible, there will be times when there is not enough availability to do so. An announcement will be made after the first set to let you know whether you can stay for free or with the purchase of a discounted or full-priced ticket.
Are there any age restrictions?
Jazz St. Louis is an all-ages venue.
May I take pictures?
You may take non-flash photos for most performances. However, please be mindful of the light and noise that comes from your camera and phone as to not disturb your fellow patrons or the performers.
How long are the performances?
Performances last approximately 70 minutes.
What time can I get there?

May I get a refund if I can not come to a show?
Jazz St. Louis tickets are nonrefundable unless a show is cancelled. Pending availability, you can exchange tickets for a different performance night with the same artist for a fee of $5 per ticket (exchanges are complimentary for subscribers).
What is Nancy’s Jazz Lounge?
Located adjacent to the Ferring Jazz Bistro, Nancy’s Jazz Lounge is a casual, no reservations (and no cover charge) bar and lounge that serves food and drinks (the same menus as the Bistro) while streaming the live Jazz St. Louis show on a 90” TV for all to enjoy! Nancy’s is open on all Jazz St. Louis show nights.
